Phuong Nguyen is a creative director and multidisciplinary designer based in Brooklyn, NY. Currently, she is the VP, Creative Director of Day One Agency.
She has previously led creative/design team at Recess, Domino Magazine and Make Space. She has also worked with various brands across media, wellness, fashion, beauty and more. Her works have been featured on Adweek, Digiday, Cool Hunting, NPR, Domino, The Huffington Post, Forbes, The Zoe Report, USNews, and Couch Magazine.
Phuong graduated with a BFA in Design and Technology from Parsons The New
School for Design in 2014. Her education piqued her curiosity for everything from sound, motion, fine art to popular culture. She is most interested in the intersection between art, design and new media.
As an artist, Phuong has been supported and featured by the New Museum, Rhizome, Eyebeam Art & Technology Center, Queens Museum of Art, Interdisclipnary Labatory for Art Nature and Dance (iLAND), Movement Research, Culture Push, and Shelia C. Johnson Design Center.
She also co-founded the clothing brand Allergic, and creative studio General Purpose.
